Hello! I am 28 male and am pretty much frightened with what I have experienced last night and the night before – the thing is that my ejaculate consists of some blood traces I had sex with my girlfriend each night and she told me I could be having hematospermia –I never heard of the term before and would like to hear something more about heamtospermia-how dangerous is it at first place and could I be having some cancer?! I have even masturbated this morning just to recheck if there is any blood trace in my ejaculate but nothing happened anyway I would still appreciate some further hematospermia info. Thanks much!
I don't think it is nothing to panic that much about it. My husband had this hematospermia condition which indicates blood presence in semen and it happened last year and lasted for about 2 weeks with occasional blood ejaculate and I remember he has done some blood test as well as urine test but also a physical exam and it turned out it was some infection related to his prostate gland which was diagnosed after the biopsy sample from his prostate was taken that was guided by an ultrasound. So I don't think you need to panic that much for this hematospermia condition is usually some infection or inflammation process related and it is not involving only the prostate for in bunch of cases it is caused by some urethra infection and in my husband's case it was about some bacteria so he was treated with some antibiotic and in 10 days it all got back on normal traces.
