Hello! I had a hernia on my groin and I got rid of it 3 days ago. I had so called “open” surgery. The whole procedure went well but the problem is that there are some bruises and swelling in the area where the surgery was done. I got a bit worried bc my surgeon said nothing about these possibilities.

I had a laparoscopic surgery, and besides swelling and bruising of this area, my scrotum was swollen as well and I had problems urinating. But all of these side effects went away after a couple of days without any treatment.
