I have a lot of health problems, the topic is just the start. I weight 318lbs. and i really need to loose weight. I get so dizzy when I try to work out. i tried walking and my head start pounding and everything get bright "heat stroke". I really don't eat that much but what I do eat I know it's not right. I have insulin resistant pcos and that don't make losing weight easy. I just want a good diet that I can stick to and some kind of excersise that i can do with out feeling like I'm going to die. Do anyone know of any thing I can do? %-)
I commend you for even trying! The first day is the hardest! I used to be very heavy and after having enough and sick and tired of being sick and tired - I started. Baby steps was the key and not obsessing about it. In a year's time I was at my goal weight and a size 4-6, mind you I had 80 plus pounds of so-called baby weight to get off. By baby steps, I mean first I cut out the eating out, then I moved on to not eating past 7 pm, then it was portion control, added in exercise (walking a mile a day and moving up to 5 miles per day - this took months). I drank tons of water, took vitamins, and got plenty of rest. The weight started coming off. I was told I was insulin-resistant as well and did not accept that. I saw it as a lid in my life that needed to be removed and it was up to me to remove that lid. Now - I train others and am in tip top shape. I would be happy to give you more information if you need it. The key is to make up your mind to do it and don't let any excuse take you out.
I would be so blessed if you will help me. I've been battling this for as long as I can remember. I have lost 21lbs. but I think it came from the zoloft because i just didn't feel like eating but I know it want to long before that plays out. My sister is a trainer but she is to hard and she work you until you want to die and I just can't do it. While I'm typing you she's looking for a workout on FitT.V. :-D
Wow, having a trainer at your disposal is priceless! I am assuming she is in very good shape and things are working for her? If so, then you should listen to her and just go for it. What do you have to lose besides weight! I remember the first time I REALLY worked out, I thought I was going to die. I think I puked after doing some interval training on the track (just walking then sprinting, then jogging, then walking, then sprinting, over and over again). One lap nearly killed me (at least that is what I thought was going to happen).
Ask your sister about interval training. That is ultimately what worked for me. Who has hours to spend at the gym? I know I don't and unless you are an athlete and getting paid for it, hours at the gym is probably not going to happen. But, with some interval training, you could work out for 30 minutes and reap the benefits of hours of working out because your metabolism goes into overtime hours after working out. You become a fat-burning machine! I like that! XD

Wow this is really something that you need to take advantage of. If she is so hard, you need to talk to her and tell her that you can not go that fast and need an easer start. Tell her to wait a month or two and then you will be able to follow her tempo.
