Hi. I am a guy that is 19 years old and I work out a lot. I want to gain more muscle, and I was thinking of going on a high protein diet, and I heard about it from a friend of mine couple weeks back. He was on it and he looks buffed enough. Could you tell me the advantages, and disadvantages of such a diet? Thanks in advance.
I was on that diet before. Good thing is that you gain muscle faster, but the bad one is that it messes your kidneys, metabolism and pressure. It is however usable, but only for a short period of time. I was lucky enough to realize that on the very start, or I would now be really messed up. Go easy on this diet.
