My right hip is totally collapsed. Due to other medical issues, I cannot get a total hip replacement for about 2 months. I have severe pain in my right groin. I'd like to know if anyone knows the best way I can get relief for the next couple of months? Maybe Ice? A heating pad doesn't help at all.
My history:
2009 Bone Marrow Transplant for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. 45 years old. I have Avascular Necrosis due to taking a lot of steroids for my treatments over the years. I'm currently taking morphine and oxycodone for neuropathy, but these meds don't seem to help my groin pain.
Curious have you had the surgery ? How did you recover?
