I am aerobic instructor for almost 7 years now. I started doing that job when I was 23 years old and I could say that my body is in excellent shape. Anyway, I decided to try something different, so I started with kickboxing. I really like it, but after several training classes I started feeling hip flexion pain. What could be the cause of it?

Most probably, you have strained some muscle, tendon or ligament. You must realize that your body is used to do only certain types of exercise. Therefore, no matter that you are in good shape, when you start something new, it will take some time for the body to absorb new movements (shorter than for those who did not train at all). Anyway, you should rest a little, you are not that young anymore, and if the pain persist, see a doctor.
