Hi. I have a few questions about Hiv. What is AIDS? What are the symptoms of HIV infection? What does HIV look alike?

Hi. AIDS, or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is a collection of symptoms and infections, resulting from the damage to your immune system. It is caused by human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV. There is no cure for AIDS. The symptoms include infections caused by bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses and opportunistic infections. HIV can affect any organ in your body. People with AIDS are more likely to develop cancer. Some other symptoms include fever, night sweats, chills, weight loss and swollen glands. HIV testing is aimed to detect HIV antibodies in blood serum, plasma, urine and oral fluid.
