okay so maybe not super duper fast but steady and surly. Drink lots of water one cup at every meal and 1-2 in between. Do cardio like jumping jax, jump roping, running or anything that gets your blood pumping and you sweating. ( means you are burning calories). Keep a well recorded journal of about how many calories u eat a day and try to burn more than u eat. Fit bits really help to set goals for urself also. Just eat healthy and workout for 10-20 minutes a day and u will start to see changes! Best of wishes!

I am a 12 year old who weighs 115 pounds. My stomach is so fat. I have been trying to loose weight for about a month and a half now but, I always end up weighing more than what I weighed before. I used to be really really skinnny but then after my parents took me to the doctor I gain weight. I have to wear XL clothes and my sister says that I am fat. I can't tell my parents because they will worry and then make sure that I don't loose weight. My mom only weighs about 122 pounds. I need help and am I overweight? (I am 5ft 2in tall).

if you want to lose weight than just start excersiging dont diet i was 115 pound at 12 and became anorexic tell your family that you dont appreciate what they say

i am also 12 and i have worried about my weight to i know how you feel i get made fun of too but i am learning to slightly get over it and you should keep to your exersse plan i know it is hard but that is the best way i have tried so many times to exersise it is so hard to keep up with it but i believe in you and instead of watching tv on the coch get up and run or ride your back all of this depends on how hard you to lose weight if you really want you will get if you dont then you wont lose anything and when i was trying to lose weiight i gained weight i dont know how though

Drink oolong tea I know how u feel and this tea has really helped me and also drink 4 liters of water for 3 days and then your body won't make your own water which can help u lose 7lbs and eat a 1000 cal diet and don't eat any bread at all and stay working out but no weights will help u lose weight u have too do sit ups and push ups for atleast 1 hour a day and some squats can help.ur welcome I'm working right now

I need help. I am a 12 year old in 6th grade who is 5 "3" I need to lose weight but I am bad and dont play sports or do any running. I use the tread mill but I get tired easily. My parents wont buy another exercising machine. What should I do

Girl I know how you feel I'm 106 pounds you may think I'm skinny but I'm not I am also trying to lose weight but if I were u I would do 500 crutches an hour a week or a day and do it for a month drink water but don't eat to much fruit veggies may not taste the best but when your gonna grab a snack grab some carrots instead

Just try to eat a little less each day, have a sleep schedule, and drink lots of water (p.s start with 500 crutches a day) do this for a month you will see improvement

You're never too young to want to get healthy. What's wrong with growing up and loosing some excess weight along the way. You may as well start now because it's going to get harder to loose it as you get older.

I am a female at 12 years old and my 'friend is always making comparisons between us. She has me try on her clothes just to show me that they don't fit me because im bigger than she is... it really sux and she is always comparing our arms like " Wow, my arm is so much skinner than yours geez your face is really chubby mine is long and thin." the thing is I never stand up to her. I am such a wuss and I already know that I am a bit overweight ( and I am working out lately) but she has to rub it i my face??????

Well I am 12 years old and I weigh 160 pounds.... I weigh more than my 14 year old brother..... I have a spring fling coming up in school but I know I can't look good in a dress when I'm fat like this.... Everybody tells me I'm not fat and not to worry about it but its hard to listen to them when I weigh more than my 14 year old brother..... So I want to lose 30-40 pounds in a month..... Is that possible?....... If so..... Any tips?

honestly, 30-40 lbs in a month is not very likely. Maybe 10 lbs though. And I feel your pain. Except that my friend tells me that I am fat, she always compares us. I am sorry that you feel terrible but you really are beautiful I am telling you this and I know it sounds sappy but you should believe it cause you are and a lot of people care for you. :)
