Aww that is so sweet and inspirational and true!! I'm 12 as well(I am aware of the the time diff) and I am trying to lose weight. But like he/she said, I keep trying. I've been trying for a few months now. I understand it is hard to stick to methods like dieting or exercise but u keep going. U posted this a while ago so I dont know how you are doing, but just keep trying if u feel u need to. Girls have power, and a portion of power is dedicated to never giving up.

Ok first of all, don't worry about what people say. I'm going through something similar. I am also 12 and know how hard it can be. I know something that can help! In PE, really do your absolute best, drink a lot of water (not too much, you don't want to lower your salt levels), and avoid anything unhealthy like soda, pizza, juice, etc. Also eat hard food, try to avoid applesauce and things like that, it comes with extra sugar you don't need. Don't eat your meals too quickly also, it prevents your brain from telling you when you are full. Please, just do not try to do anything unhealthy that could harm you in any way, trust me it is not good for you and you could end up in the hospital. Don't diet, my parents taught me that lifestyles are key. A new lifestyle would be eating plenty fruits and veggies, limiting the carbs like bread, and eating protein and fiber filled foods like lean meats and beans. I know what you are going through and hope that things get better. You aren't the only one going through this and know many of us are here for you! Follow my advice and I think that you can do this! Don't worry about guys at this age ok? They're stupid and going through an awkward time of their lives. Dress how you like to dress, and don't pay attention to labels! Dress with clothing you like and that fits you well, be yourself! Don't let the little things get to you, only people who matter in your lives should affect you. okay so im almost 13 i weight 130 pounds and honestly its horrible to be like this because well im always last to be picked for a game my paents think im fat and its depressing because im like this i dont care what others care i just wanna feel good about myself and stop getting the adult clothes it really sucks i looked this up to start feeling good about myself because if you dont love yourself whats the point PLEASE I WANT TRUE HELP

I have the same problem but I'm 13. I am currently on my first week and lost 6 pounds. It takes a while but u have to be patient. I am probably the least patient person ever. Make sure you eat no snacks or junk food. Only drink water and milk (for protein) and make sure you are exercising or are in a sport like basketball, soccer, etc. The first week is realy rough but it gets better once you start the second week. Eat only about 800-1000 calories a day but DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!!! Eat nutrient dense foods like chicken, tuna fish, lettuce, ect. And most off all remember to push through and be strong. If I can do it you can.
