Since a young lad, I have weighed around 70 kg and even going through middle age I never put on more than 2 kg. Today I am 67 years old and weigh 68 kg. I can eat what I like, but I do not eat because I like food, I eat because I have to - to stay alive. If I could give up eating and just take a tablet, I would be more than happy. My height, in case you think I am a midget is 5'10" in old money.
My lifestyle used to be active, I cannot sit still, I would rather be outside polishing the car or taking the dog for a walk. I say used to be active as with the onset of Spinal Stenosis and Sciatica, I seem to spend more time sitting in front of the computer.
I know this is the incorrect site for my problem and I know that if you could get hold of me you would probably want to string me up from the nearest tree.

I'm dealing with the similar kind of problem - I can't eat exactly everything without thinking about it, but no matter what, fatty, unhealthy food as much as you can handle it in a day or not - it makes you gain a few pounds in a while, but that soon goes away if you are active at all or if your body kind of gives you the signal to stop eating so much of that stuff when it makes no point. If anything, it can cause additional health problems. So, what is the slower and, it seems, the better approach, is to eat more calories in about the same size meals while you keep other healthy habits.
