It's funny because some women seem to the know the moment they conceive, maybe you are one of them. Pregnancy symptoms never show up the following day, just some keen intuition. Some women want to have a baby so badly that every little ache and pain is somehow associated with the fact that they MUST be pregnant, nine out of ten times, they aren't. The only thing that you can do at this time is to wait it out and keep having sex for a couple more days, you are ovulating and this is your time to shine.
If you don't get your period when it's scheduled to come, wait 3 or 4 days and get a pregnancy test, but stop smoking anyway. When i used to ovulate i remember eating sweets like no tomorrow. I would eat sugar for a few days then just totally stop all at once. I'm not trying to burst your bubble here and i know how much you want another child, but don't get ahead of yourself as you could end up dissapointed.
So....have a lot of sex (practice makes perfect) and wait it out. I'm sure God will smile on you soon, if he hasn't already;-)
Morning mrskaroake,
Sometimes when a women ovulates, she will experience some slight spotting and cramping, this is normal for some. On the other side, there are women who ovulate and don't even know it. You were quite active in the few days leading up to ovulation and this is good. Sperm can live in our bodies for some days after ejaculation and find there way to their destination with ovulation. Ovulation says that you are releasing an agg and the live sperm that is already in that neighborhood could make their way to this egg, called conception.
So with a little luck, you may be pregnant at this time. You won't know until you miss a period. You may start to feel different just before your period is scheduled to start and if your cycle is like clockwork and nothing happens, you just may be pregnant. There are some home pregnancy tests on the market that will detect the pregnancy hormone days before your period even starts. They cost about 15.00.
Just try and relax. I know that you are wanting desperatly to have a baby but don't work yourself up over it. Stressing and worrying and wondering will only postpone your period anyway.
