Today I remembered how I had a clavicle fracture many years ago, when I was teenager. That was terrible experience. I realized that many of my friends from school had this kind of fractures. The injuries usually happened during sports game. I’m wondering how common are clavicle fractures? Anybody has this information?
The clavicle fractures are very common. Maybe we can say extremely common. Almost any sport can be associated with clavicle fractures but football, rugby and hockey are the most common. It happens to children and teenagers very often because the clavicle does not completely ossify or develop until the late teens.
