How do you know if you have real period

I was wondering how do you know if you are having a real period right now I am expercing all the signs of pregnacy but yet I have bled once a month and before I had my first period I was bleeding for two days and that was 5 days after I had sex. So I was wondering how do you know what period is a real period.
