how long after opiates can you take suboxone without going into withdrawls?

lol I have the opposite question, how long after taking subs can I do some dope and feel it. maybe u can answer my question cuz I can answer urs!
OK u should wait 24 hours after ur last dose if u have a real heavy addiction/high tolerance. Heroin is my favorite opiate but I started with roxy, dilaudid, oxymorphone (opana), morph sulfate etc... when I was on roxy mostly, back when 1 or 2 got me high (not full on drooling nod but got a rush when I shot it etc... I could take subs the next day, like soon as I started feelin shitty. but longer half-life having opiates such as heroin and some of the pharmeceuticals, esp when u been doin it a lot n have that monster tolerance and that real bad withdrawels, u gotta wait 24 hrs MINIMUM or it will make u feel worse. now, suboxone is worse cuz of the naloxone for that. I have read that the bupenorphrine is sposed to make u sick too but when I have taken subutex I never had that problem BUT I haven't taken tex since my tolerance has gone up and I mostly just do heroin cuz pills are too expensive n don't get me high anymore unless I do ridiculous amounts. what I do is 24 hrs after my last dose I take like a quarter or a strip to take the edge off. u will still feel crappy but its more bearable. then I keep taking like 1/4 a strip at most at a time 2 or 3 times throughout the next 24 hrs. after u been on subs for 24 hrs the next day u can take a larger dose and start feelin better. the 3rd day is when I feel fine. the sub works great, I take Xanax or klonopin cuz I have bad anxiety n suboxone makes it worse n it helps a lot. smoking weed does too. does anyone know how long u have to wait if say ive been taking suboxone for 2 1/2 days, taken 1 1/2 strips approx. throughout that time, no more than a 1/4 or 1/3 of an 8 mg strip at a time stretched out. how long before I can feel dope again? I go back n forth cuz I cant afford a sub dr cuz our country likes to take money from ppl that really need certain meds. ever notice meds for the more serious sh*t is most expensive? cancer, AIDS (getting cheaper b ut still), most mental health meds, including suboxone/subutex. I digress...
oh and ive taken both pill and strips n I like strips better, some like pills better. ive only done subutex in pill form and I shot it up and did opiates before, during and after so I think the naloxone in suboxone makes it where u gotta wait 24 hrs or more. hope this helps and hope someone can answer my question which is ur question in reverse lol.

man ur crazy i shoot up dilaudids n i do 4mg at a time prolly 3 times a day but if i dont have any 6-8 hours i am really sick.. ive been on the sub program for a while on and off but i can get them on the street... well i had gotten a couple because they are cheaper.. but i also shoot my strips i feel they act faster n better... but i did a dil. about 2 - 3 hours befor the sub n yea u get instantly sick but it doesnt last but 20 min then u feel the sub so its not that big of a deal like ur sayn it is

Bro I shot 2 Ds bout 7 hrs ago and just shot a quarter of a sub strip and im str8..

I always wait at least 10-15 hours our i feel like ass. Also experience tells me strips are the better choice but i slam them.last longer then the pills and i feel them more.

Right on, sick of paint. You want a straight forward answer, real help, not a sermon on someone's adventures. Let me offer this from my experience. Yes, everyone is different, body weight, metabolism, etc. I was in the same position last year.I'm 6ft. 200 lb. fit. Had a pretty strong dope habit. I called a drug rehab place and spoke with the doc. He was kind enough to answer some questions I had. I asked him what they did for patients and he said they started as early as 12 hrs. Which was good news to me. He said you don't have to wait till your raging sick. You don't want to take too early, it can kick in your sickness. I tried at 12 -15 hr. Range and was fine. As a matter of fact, I felt great, like I had never had a habit. Wait as long as you can, 12 hr. Minimum, if you can go longer, to be safe, go longer. You don't have to torture yourself.

I've been sniffing about 3 bags a day of medium quality H for about a month.  

I got some 8 mg suboxone orange pills and I've previously been through precipitated WD's and they are worse than regular WD's.  They suck.

I started with 1 mg of suboxone after 14 hours.  I took my score on the COWS worksheet and I took it once my score reached about 20.  (It's recommended you wait until your score is 26 but the muscle/joint pain was getting bad so I took 1 mg suboxone.)

After 30 mins I didn't go into WD's but didn't feel much better.  I took another 1 mg totalling 2 mg and I feel completely fine.  The symptoms went away about 10 mins after my second 1 mg dose.

So that was my habit and how long I waited and how much I took.  I've looked for that simple information also and it's very hard to just get a clear, concise idea of other people's habits, dose, etc.

So to summarize:

3 bags/day sniffed of medium quality H for about a month (not heavy or prolonged use)

Waited 14 hours after I scored a 20 on this sheet

Started with 1 mg, didn't go into precipitated WD's so took another 1 mg after 30 mins.

2 mg's suboxone and I feel completely fine.  Not high, not sick.  Normal.  

*IF YOU TAKE a longer opiate like methadone or other longer acting pills you have to wait much longer.  For methadone - stop taking for at least 2 weeks.  

*You never know what your H is cut with so you could unknowingly be taking a longer opiate so some people wait 24 hours+ and still get the precipitated WD's.

I never posted anything online about my addiction... To be 100% honest Iv been denying to myself that I even had an addiction problem for over a year. Iv been snorting 1-3 30mg Roxy's for about 2 years now. Recently I made the mistake of experimenting with banging them ( injection)... Worst mistake of my life. After seeing the marks and bruises on my arms and having heavy WD when I ran out of money I decided enough is enough and I had to kick this terrible habbit that's destroying every aspect of my life. My buddy gave me a 2/8 suboxone film.. I was very worried about getting super sick from taking to early.. So after alot of research and advice I just took 1/4 of the film about 2 hours ago... It had been around 20 hours since my last Roxy. And I have to say I actually feel normal.. I had forgotten what it was like to feel "normal" and not constantly searchijg and driving around to find my next fix.. I have 1 film total and hopefully its enough to bypass the worst part of my Roxy WD and also not enough to get addicted to subs. After this week I'll never touch another opiate ever again... Just thought I'd share my experience for once.. Good luck to all of you.

people need to just reply to the question just answer instead of tell your life story so here's the deal I took 8 milligrams of Suboxone 3 times a day the fourth day I took one in the morning because I knew I was getting heroin that the night so that night at 9 o'clock I did a 20 of heroin then the next morning at 9 o'clock I did another 20 that afternoon at 230 I injected half an a milligram suboxone at first I felt a little strange from what I read I thought I was withdrawing I felt a little tingle in my stomach and knew it was the suboxone so 10 minutes later I took the other half an hour later I was feeling fine now its 4 o'clock I have no withdrawals and all I feel is the suboxin it's as though I never did the heroine so I guess it's all dependent upon the person but I think the keys that I had suboxin in my system when I did the heroine.

That was an awful thing to say to someone and I hope he didn't follow your instructions. You should have told him to refer to the COWS scale for induction because everybody's body chemistry is different so what could be 12 hours for you could be 24 hours or even 8 hours to some. And also with no pre existing conditions you won't die from precipitated withdrawal from taking your suboxone to soon. You'll be in for one of the worst experiences of withdrawal in your life but you won't die. You can die from dehydration as a result of withdrawal so be sure to drink water and try to stay hydrated.

You take them both at the same time...? You understand what an 'opiate blocker' is, correct? Hahaha. SO many of these people are absolutely retarded, don't have ANY idea what they are talking about, and have obviously never actually gone through wd's.. or at least not bad enough to understand why people actually NEED subs and/or why people are so scared to get thrown into worse wd's.

so you waited 3 days without methadone to take a suboxone? were you feeling w/d at this time>?

i have been taking 6 butalbital w codiene a day for twenty years,how bad will my withdrawls be as im starting today. i have three eight mg suboone strips,i never tried help??

Been taking opanas for a couple weeks straight. Did two opana 20s yesterday one of them at 9 o clock last night. Got a zubsolv at 12 today and snorted half of it and I feel pretty good actually. I felt like c**p before I snorted it. Wouldn't advise snorting it though because it felt like I snorted a damn altoid and it burned like no other!
