Be very careful if you are helping this young lady God bless you friend, however getting someone on a alternative drug can be very dangerous. There is a reason why they have these expensive rehab centers. You need to know this persons medical history along with knowing how to take her temperature and blood pressure. You also need something to help her sleep. My advice is to baker act her. I know she doesn’t want the authorities involvement but take her to a state funded clinic, the ramifications that you are getting yourself in are huge Keep her cal until someone from the hospital or rehab center can see her. Thx for the advice, I have try to do so twice and it went terribly wrong. I started vomiting and had diarrhea along with worse pain then the actual withdrawal. My friends are telling me to wait as much as possible even ro wait till I can’t take it no more. Ike I said both times I tried it went wrong. The first time I did it too soon. The second time I took my last hit. Edite going to sleep. In the morning I had the body aches, I waited probably 4 more hours after waking up. I took a small piece and felt a bit better so I thought I should take the full amount… oh my God it was the worse thing I have ever felt I felt into a major withdrawal along with uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea I could not move because of the pain. Tomorrow I start on it and I’m just praying it goes well.

Thank you for posting your story. You are very correct on when to take the Suboxine, I just started Suboxine again after 5 years clean from pain killers and Suboxine both. I messed up, it lasted 4 months, all it really took was the first fentanyl pill though. So I’m past the 24 hr window of my last use, I just started with 1mg of a Suboxine strip, didn’t feel better or worse after the hour so I took another 1mg strip. 30 mins later I started I think feeling it a bit so I waited about 40 more mins which is me right now and have taken 1mg again. Mentally I’m starting to wake up it feels like. I’ve tried to make this 24hrs as painless as possible by smoking a CBD/THC indica vape slowly along with another pure indica THC Vape 300mgs, and I could barely feel withdrawal.. I was honestly just so tired and nervous about if my body was in withdrawal or not because I couldn’t feel anything!! Like I knew 24 hrs in I should be in pain, why don’t drs give patients CBD or THC to help them through the 24-36 hour window before taking Suboxine? I’ll tell my dr what I took only because she said I could eat edibles if I wanted to.. maybe it’ll help someone else one day. But thanks for your story, it’s been good to read and has made me feel a lot more positive about making the leap to not fall into withdrawals from restarting the subs. Once I get through my first 8mg down over 6-8hrs, then I’ll feel safe enough to take a full dose. I’ve been reading horror stories everywhere about subs pushing you right into PWD’s and all my brain keeps saying is, not today satan. I restarted this program because I want to be clean, you need to be mentally ready and accepting of what you want for yourself. I don’t want to be dependent on someone else all the time. Fug I hate driving to this dudes house and I hate being dependent on anything! It is so annoying, I’ve gotten myself off of a 7yr Suboxine Drs order, I just weened down over 5 months and I dropped out of the program, I have a new dr now and don’t plan on being on a program for very long. I'm on herion but when I try to quit I take suboxne and the withdraws or horrible why the sub not helping

If you've went back out there be safe and know you'll find your way back. To answer the original question, I feel the EXACT same way with subutex and the newest generic, Subzolve. I just went from an 8.2 mg to an 11.4 mg twice per day of subzlve due to the difference in strength. I didn't feel relief in the morning when I would take one of the 8.2mg's like I did before with one 8 oz strip. I took one and a quarter until I convinced my dr I was not full of BS. Same ole story with subutex

I have taken dihydrocodeine for 5 years. I take 2 every 4 hours. So I take 6 to 8 a day. I was wondering how long I can take them before I die from them?

I agree with all the long stories of him to list with what people been through because we’ve all been through something different so just bury you my whole life story it’s a simple as this if you’re on methadone you have to wait around 3 to 4 days before you can take a Suboxone if you’re on fentanyl you have to we could 24 hours if you’re on Percocet or Vicodin I’d say weed at least 18 hours if you’re on morphine not extended release 12 hours and if you’re on heroin 12 hours you just need to feel a little uncomfortable beginning of detox not skin crawling scratching eyes out sweating profusely Detox. By the way I’ve gotten off Suboxone on all of the above drugs and when I was on methadone it’s only way for me to cancel it was to go back onto heroin to get down to the 12 hours before I could take Suboxone

Methadone wait 3 to 4 days before taking Suboxone fentanyl wait 24 hours before taking Suboxone Percocet and Vicodin wait 18 hours before taking Suboxone morphine not extended release wait 12 hours before taking Suboxone heroin once again 12 hours before taking Suboxone I’ve gotten off all of these drugs with Suboxone messed up a few times by taking it too early these were the times that works for me and when I got off methadone it was too hard to handle so I went back on the heroin to get it down to 12 hours of non-drug taking before I took Suboxone I weigh 170 pounds and 5 foot 10 typical average male
