I got tested and my test came back positive for Chlamydia. My Doctor prescribed me 250mg of Zithromax in the form of 4 tablets. He told me to take all 4 pills at one time with food. He also said I may experience some upset stomach and diarrhea. ok so when i was 17 i was in a serious relationship with my boyfriend and he gave me chymedia only i did not find out until i was 18 i took the meds and thought it was gone and i never spoke of it again... well now i am 20 and i am pregnant and just got a phone call saying i have it.... i am pissed because this is a different guy and we are supposed to be faithful... but my main worry is my unborn child... i dont know what to do... can i harm my baby by taking the meds?

i went and got tested for chlamydia because i had the symptoms and have had unprotected sex. clear discharge and slight itching. went to doc on thursday afternoon and she gave me the powder form drink mix of zithromax. you drink it all at once. here it is saturday night and the itch(which feels like inside my penis) and the discharge is still there. not 100% sure its chalmydia but i think so and how long should it take to clear of the nasty discharge and itching after drinkin the zithromax?? please help

Hi I started to have symtoms and asked my Girl For the Past yearand half if she ever cheated on me then she said no then I tought maybe it was normal from life's stress and all one day she called me and told me that she cheated on my with her ex and that I should get tested so I did and it came out to be positive for Chlamydia They Gave me 2 pills of "Azithromycin" The Discharge never went away I went back to health department they did retest on us both and still came back positive gave us both 2 more pills of "Azithromycin" Weeks later still Positive and Have symptoms so We both got priscription for 100mg Doxycycline and this is the 7th day still have some small discharge along with weird feeling when peeing and itching around the balls "genitals" I am thinking about getting the priscription for Z-pack Next. Does Any body know if this Chlamydia stays forever with some people cuz I am not cured WHat should I do? Today i found out that i have chlamydia, iam 19 and i had 3 boyfriends.. i went out with my first boyfriend for 3 years, he was the one that took my virginety , we were together for 3 years but i dint catch any sexual diesaes with him, then after 3 years we were over and i found another boyfriend which we stayed together for 3 years too and we always had sex without condom but i always used to go to the clinic just to check if its everything fine which it was, i never catched any std with him but now i found a new boyfriend we start seen each other on the 31st november and we start having sex on the 13th december first time that we had sex we did without condom i know that was really STUPID......... but he dindt come inside me but the second time the condom ripped and he came insid me and dat was a few weeks ago but after a few days that we had sex i started having bad symptoms.... so i went to the clinic again i did all the test even blood test it came all negative expet that i have chlamydia i am sosss sorry for my selfff... i just feel like crying all the time i never had this kind of things that when they told me today i didnt know what to do i just felt like killing my self.... I haven't been with anyone in 5 years and still tested positive for Chlamydia. I was totally shocked to learn that. The test showed a very low count (hardly there) but still positive. Even after a treatment with azithromycin my test came out positive again, just few counts down from 93 to 88. Shall I continue treatment? My doctor told me to have another test after a month or two.

ok so i see many post on here where people are overly worried. to confirm a few things chlamydia is curable. zithromax takes 1 to 2 weeks to cure it. rarely but sometimes symptoms reoccur . in the case you visit your doctor or care clinic again. chlamydia or ngu is a bacteria that can be transmitted oral, anal, or vaginal intercourse. this is the most common std outside of gonorrhea. if u find out at anytime you have any std stop having sex till treatment an after treatment refrain from intercourse till cured .. an to the post of the one girl who had sex with one guy then gave other guys head after that i just want to say that is a perfect example of how it is spread.now on dosage your weight an size will pend the amount. some will recieve one to two grams or for someone of my size 4 grams. it is one time treatment with zithromax. will symptoms go away go an get checked to make sure the infection is gone before having any form of intercourse with your partner/'s
