how long does suboxone stay in your body/stay active?

I have been on lortabs for the past 10 years. This past year i have had issues finding a new pain managment place mainly bevause children arent allowed and i dont have anyone to watch my 2 yr old son. But, i have gotten suboxon off f the streets per say and ill take 1 8mg dose. Even though after 24 hours i dont feel great, i still dont have withdrawls..i have been off of a suboxon for over 2 weeks and it still showed positive in my system..Even thoughthe textbook about half life days it should be gone. I will take 1 , 8mg dose of suboxon and allow it to wear out of my system. I never had an issue till last week. This time after the suboxon wore off, i had withdrawl symptons...all the information i read online doesnt match my experiences with the suboxon...Has anyone had the same experiences as i have??

Who was the id**t who gave this answer? Not even close. Suboxone has a half life of 37 hours. That means half of what you took is still active in your system after 37 hours. What in the world do you mean by 50% half life? Look up the definition of what a half life is? People please do not take advice from these forums. Please speak to a health-care professional.
