I just want to know how long will the burning in a woman's vagina will last and how soon will it go away because it is very scary. I also wanted to know that if you are wearing a condom could a women burn through the condom.
There are several different reason you could be burning. This would determine how long it will last.
1) Infection/ Yeast or Bacterial-You would need to have a culture to determine if this is your issue. See a doctor.
2) Allergy-to topical soap or condom spermicide
3) Herpes-See doctor for test
4) Vulvodynia-I had this disorder. My bodily fluids were acidic. I used diet to heal myself. I eat tons of green veggies. No coffee, soda, alcohol. I drink Evian water only! It lasted 19 months for me. If you don't heal yourself it can last for years. I have spoken to women who have had this for 23 years! There is no drug to cure this disorder.
I am sure there are other conditions that will cause burning. See a doctor to rule out any infections or viruses. Good luck. Laura

It could be from something as simple as your birth control pill. the burning won't stop immediately, but it gets better over time. This is what was wrong with me :-). Good luck.h
