I am suffering from diabetes for exactly 24 hours and I still haven’t slept one hour! I think about my situation all the time and I wonder what went wrong. I know that diabetes is far from a mild condition, I have even heard about diabetic seizures. How long would it take to recover from the effects of a diabetic seizure?
You are right, diabetes is a serious condition, but it can be controlled easily with medicament therapy and diets. Ad for seizures, they happen when the sugar level in the blood becomes too low. In that case, if you east something sweet, you should get better in no time, so stop worrying about something that might not even happen.
Margaret has a good point here! Why are you worried about something that is not going to happen if you are careful enough! First of all I am so sorry that you are suffering from diabetes and I am aware that you are still in shock and that you are trying to get an answer why this has to happen to you but there is no point in crying over spilt milk so start with positive thinking. you are not the first person diagnosed with this condition and probably not the last one either. Start with your lifestyle changes because the faster you start the faster you will adapt to it. I hope that you will follow tips provided by your doctor.
