Hello. I was diagnosed a urinary infection. Doctor prescribed me antibiotic and told me to drink a lot of water and other fluids. I forgot to ask him how much water I had to take daily for this condition of mine. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me. Thanks.
Hi. When one has urinary infection, it is very important to drink a lot of water. This huge amount of water helps wash out all bacteria from urinary tract. If you take more water, you will urinate more frequently. You don’t have to drink only water. Teas are also very helpful. Some experts recommend about 8 ounces of water per hour. I hope this helps. If you have any doubts, contact your doctor. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
