Is this normal for guys to do together? I was talking to my friend about doing workouts together so we could get better at working out. The conversation got a little competitive and we started comparing biceps and mine were bigger so i started to tease him a little bit. Before i could tease him further, he pulled his shirt over his head, then stuck his chest out. “You should worry about keeping up with all of this,” he said and motioned to his abs. Were we seriously about to compare our whole bodies? I wasnt sure i was ready to do this now but i had to admit i appreciated the turn it had taken. I am never opposed to seeing my attractive friend take his clothes off; that sort of thing had definitely been one of the perks of our friend ship. “Come here,” i prompted, daring him to move closer. “Let me inspect the goods up close.” he took the bait, just like i expected. When he had moved close enough for me to touch, i ran a hand down his chest, spreading his fingers out slowly as they drifted down towards his sculpted abs. Has anyone else done something like this??

From what I've read at this site, it has become normal in recent decades. Half a century and a little more ago, when I was this age, you were considered questionable if you didn't strip naked and shower at the end of gym class. ("Are you chicken to let the other guys see you naked?") You were also considered questionable in a much worse way if you got an erection while naked in the locker room. ("Are you gay?" And that neutral term isn't the one they used back then.) Although they kept it to themselves, guys did compare penises, but they did it subtly. There were some guys who, be they homophobes or just jerks, who would almost threaten to kill you if they caught you looking too closely at their penises.
That's the way it was when we were all required to be dressing together as part of school of organized sports. But smaller groups of boys would gather informally for sex-play. Erections, masturbating and really close comparisons of penises and their functions were not uncommon in these gatherings. They just needed privacy. This would come to an end when the individual "boys" figured how to get "girls" to join them in their sex-play.
