Like any medical procedure it is not to be taken lightly. Do your research and speak with your doctors. There are always risks with surgery. And always risks with general anaesthetic. Personally I would only consider it for a serious medical condition, not for cosmetic reasons. Make sure you are fully informed of the risks before you consider it. and don't believe anyone who says there are no risks. Best of luck.
