how soon do you lose weight after going of depo provera?

Well since I been off depo I already lost 9 pounds cause 6 pounds the first mth .And no I have no anxiety I have my kids and family but never had lost this much weight after getting off lost weight from face and my sides

I haven't had my period lost weight before and it's still not here. I talk to my doctor she said for me to go get a blood wrk to see what's going on cause she said she won't give me anything until I find out what's going on

Off and on for 2 years but yeah I gain weight on it but this last time I lost it so fast I couldn't believe it

Yes the same mth I got off and still loosing gonna go see a doctor today to do blood work

Oh I did I freaked out to I looked at my pictures when I was on it and after totally different my face now is much more skinny

Well like I said I was off and on depo for 2 years and every time I would not get it for like 4 5 moths I never experience that. I never had any of these symptoms coming off depo I always gained naybe it could be hormones I go to the doctor today and I'll see what he says thank u

I couldn't loose it either when I was on it I was eating everything gaining weight. But last mth got off and the next mth went to a doctor apt weight my self I lost 6 pounds like wow. Maybe because I have no appetite now I've been gagging on stuff I just wanna sleep no energy urining a lot body hurts breast hurts

Yes could be hormones or pregnancy or after effects of getting off but I talk to a nurse she said no one should experience that after u get off birth control

Yes I agree with u it all counts on how your eating habits are how energetic u are as long as u do a lil running here and there cut down on food cause when I was on it all I wanted to do was eat I was 128 when I first got on it and when I got off i weight 146 but because I didn't take care of myself eating habits.I just got off last mth now i weight 139 . And yeah maybe it's hormones that's trying to adjust to getting back to normal that's y we think we could be pregnant but like me I was off and on and never experience these symptoms before. My stomach is getting rounder I can't see my belly button I can't eat breast tenderness itching urining a lot sleeping a lot dizzying and lost in appetite and having to throw up

I had 3 shots of depo provera. so like 9 months on it. The day I got the shot I weighed 125lbs, the day i got my last shot I was 155... I gained 30 pounds... I may have even gained more while waiting for my last shot to get out of my system. I am super active i go to the gym 3-4 days a week and eat somewhat healthy. even though the shot made me starving every 3 hours. was not normal. when i got off the shot the weight did not drop at all not even a pound. i started going to the gym every day and doing atleast an hour of cardio. I managed to make it down to 148lbs after 10 months of being off the shot. 3 months after that the weight stayed the same 148-150. I was eating healthy grilled chicken, brown rice, broccoli. still didn't seem to work. Sooooo a month ago I said screw it and cut out carbs. only eating protein and vegetables... staying under 600 cals a day. i know not healthy. but i lost 15 lbs in a month. i am now down to 135lbs. it was the only thing that worked. 10 more lbs to go and im back to where i was before this devil of a shot. but it took me over a year to lose a nominal amount of weight. this was the worst birthcontrol experience of my life.

Went to see the doctor all he could tell me was my hormones that was making me feel pregnant. He didn't prescribe me anything and I told him about my urining and all he could say he really don't know he did blood wrk for pregnancy but came out negative and I lost more pounds I asked him y I'm loosing weight so fast he said probably my hormones. He was asking like a jerk.
