how soon do you lose weight after going of depo provera?

I to had this problem...the only side effect the doctor told me.. Was I wasn't going to have a period.. I was happy about that..however I've gained 30 pounds...that I can't rid off... I'm searching for an solution to get rid of the problem... sign...can you give us the solution.. Can we sue for we the people who gained this weight is now considered.. OBESED..

For your situation I can understand it being beneficial. But for the rest of us to use just as a birth control, is not even worth the damage. Depo ruins your life. I should have NEVER put it in my body, and had I known all of the horrible things that I do now, I would have never gotten that first injection....

Oh my god. I've gotten 2 shots of depo and my next is on August 22nd but I've decided to stop and after reading all of these comments about weight gain, I'm terrified. I, too, haven't gained any weight while on depo. I know every body is different but I'm praying I don't gain a drastic amount of weight.

I was on the depo for nearly 7 months and after my second lot of injections I suddenly went up 2 dress sizes I was regularly exercising and ate healthy so for me to gain so much weight was a massive shock and I got nearly all the side affects you could get I wouldnt recommend it and I can't wait to lose some weight

I hope you can still get these messages. I cannot lose weight either! I gained 30lbs in one month, from 1 shot! I use to get it when I was a teenager & I didn't gain weight. I gained a ton from the 'patch' back then. I was able to lose 15lbs but the rest will not go away. I barely even eat, I'm all organic, gluten free, no soda. Nothing! I've even taken diet pills & I cannot get down enough. No one believes me that it's the depo & it changed my body. Can we sue them?!

I have been on the depo for over 6 years. I have gained 50 lbs but in the last 10 months I have decided to make a life style change and I have lose those 50 lbs. we have decided that we want to start trying for kids so I wont be getting my next shot in November 2-14th.

I researched depo before starting it 2 Years ago but thought wth I was 55kg so a bit of weight gain was fine. Im now 70kg and up 2 bra sizes so I can't wait to get it out my system!!

I was on it for 3 years to, and I broke my collar bone by falling and that was like more than a year ago and its still sore not lly healed now ik that because I've broken my ankle and hip when I was younger and I healed perfectly fine and my collar bone doesn't want to heal its sore when I use it too much, thats why i stopped getting the shot it also made me gain 55 pounds

My last shot was due December 22 2015 I didn't get it I stoped because it caused me to have anxiety hair loss 15 pound weight gain mood swings itching I was always itchy so I stopped in December 2015 and it's now November 2016 almost December and still no period not one no spotting nothing my hair still falling out bloated all the time nausea dizzy I actually fainted once head aches body aches did notice tiny weight loss this month so took 11 months to lose 2 pounds but working out like crazy and stoped eating unhealthy so good luck hope this helps what to expect coming off at least it's what I'm dealing with and still dealing with
