I have 2 doctors with conflicting diagnosis about what these lumps (labia minora) I have been getting are. Last month before my period I had 2 one pea-sized, the other grew rather large. They never broke open they just finally went away. This month its only one and its grown some but not anymore than a marble. Still no lesions. And has already begun to shrink after one warm sitz bath. Both docs agreed it didnt look like gential herpes 1 (HSV1) and its not HSV2. But one doc remains convinced it is genital HSV1, which is usually the oral herpes that causes cold sores. I have had blood tests and the results are irrelavent since both docs seen them and still have conflicting opinions. One claiming the finds were wrong the other saying they were accurate. Im so confused and stressed. I have seen a few things saying that PCOS can cause hard painful lumps on labia and tender inguinal (lymph). There have also been a few things that have said it could be a Bartholian cyst, but can you have 2 at a time?
Hi ther,e you could indeed have two cysts at one time, but I think that it wasn't HSV1. As best I can tell from what you've reported, anyway. DO you think you might be able to see a third doctor just to get some clarity and perhaps some new blood tests?
