Hello! My husband suffers from diabetes and he has fallen into hypoglycemia few times. His doctor explained that his blood sugar levels drop too low to provide enough energy for his body activities. He has never fainted but he often feels weak and sleepy. He is also always hungry. Our doctor asked us if he has any symptoms during the night. I haven’t noticed anything unusual but I actually don’t know which hypoglycemia symptoms are during the night.
Hello! Hypoglycemia can also happen while sleeping. If your husband cries out or has nightmares or he feels tired, nervous and confused when he wakes up you can say he has hypoglycemia during the night. If he sweats while he is sleeping this can also be the symptom of hypoglycemia. There are many things that can cause nighttime hypoglycemia and if you notice any of the named symptoms you should report it to our doctor.
