Okay so this month me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse on the 10th. My period is supposed to come on the 17th, I am 13 days late. I took 2 home pregnancy test on Christmas Eve the 24th and both said negative. Today I have taken 2 more home pregnancy tests and both say negative. I have not been stressed lately except stressing over when Im gonna get my period. Should I see a doctor?

first you are only 13 days late, with most women it is 6 weeks after the fact before your body has enough HCG in it to register on a pee stick. The sticks we buy in the stores are no different than those used at a dr. office. After 3-4 weeks your blood has enough HCG in it to register pregnancy... be very careful that you DO NOT  trick your body into thinking you are when your not.  Take everyday as if you are waiting for your period. come 4 weeks into not having one see your dr, and consult with them about your concerns. Sometimes if this is your first child they are able to tell about that time with a blood test and a pelvic exam.

Stressing over when your period will come is undo stress that your body does not need. this can prolong your period it can also make it lighter and or harder.... relax first of all... if you go about your rutine like your about to start, you will know shortly...

One sure sign i have found with all 4 of my daughters, is my breasts became tender to the touch, and to close, and were more comfortable in a sports bra than not in one at all.  watch what your eating, and how much, watch if any how many times a day you vomit after eating or smelling certain foods.. keep a journal on this so that when you go to your dr, you can show them exactly what your doing and not just what you think your doing.

Every pregnancy is different, watch your body, it will let you know... a week before and a week after your period is when a woman is most fertile than any other time of the month...

when in doubt relax.. for me telling my husband we might be pregnant helped start me periods as well.... but relax, give your body time and see what it does over the next few days, expect your period as if your not late... and most of all give the attitude ok if it comes ok if not ok to...

i hope this helps good luck

6 weeks from when I missed my period, or from the time I last had intercourse.
Im sorry I am barely 18 and do not know much about this. I havent vomit but the only thing that has been changing is my sleep schedule and I dont have tender breasts but only tender nipples (I apologize couldn't find a different word).

dont worry about the words, when i first got pregnant that was what was the most tender was my nipples then my breast area started from the nipples up... every woman is different, if you still have not started i would recommend 2 things not only as an experienced 4x's pregnancies but as a mom my daughter is 18, take another pregnancy test only one is needed, no matter what the results are i would recommend you to see your female dr and have blood work done. it takes up to 7 days for the sperm to fertilize an egg, and then about 4-6 weeks after that for your body to put hgc in your blood and urine... some blood work can get it sooner than that as well. BLOOD WORK IS THE BEST AND FINAL SOLUTION!!!! i say this because if your blood work is negative and with signs of pregnancy you may not be far enough along to register. Also if my daughter is going to have a hard and heavy period than normal her breasts will be swollen and sore as well.... you are 18 take it one day at a time and dont stress over it, it is easier said than done i know however if you dont stress your body will do what it needs to do either protect a baby or shed your endometrium which what you lose during your period.
