I am a 17 year old female, i am 5 feet tall and weight 205 pounds. i have tried many diets and i ussualy loose about 15lbs in a month but then get stuck and regain it doubled. What can I do?

The healthiest diet is weight watchers. It is not a fast program but it is healthy. 15 lbs in one month is great but in the beginning you will lose more weight and then it will slow down. Don't give up. Think about how great you will feel in one year if you lose 2 lbs a week. That is more than the weight you will need to lose. In one year if you go slow and careful (like at weight watchers) you will be slim and healthy. I am 5 feet tall too and used to weight 202 lbs.. I lost 28 lbs in 3 months and I feel great. I am looking forward to how great I will feel and how great I will look in a few months. Good luck.

Teengirl: Listen, I have struggled with my weight since I was 10 yrs old. I wasn't a fast child, but def heard comments about fat people in my family, and knew I didn't want to be one of them. Well, I still became a day person after my 3rd child and a change in my life left me depressed and stuck in the house. So, after visiting my sister, who had lost so so much weight, I began using sugar substitutes. Never wanted to, cuz I'd heard of brain tumors in monkeys. Anyway, I was tired of being fat, so I totally cut sugar from my food, drinks and no sweets. I listed my bread intake at any given opportunity, and I quit using mayonnaise. Those were the 3 major diet differences. I lost 65 lbs, in 9 months. As I gradually lost weight though, then I quit being so scared to be seen, which allowed me to venture outside more. I started walking to the store 5 min away, and then the walk just started getting easier and easier. Cutting the sugar, and drinking diet sodas, Crystal Light and Equal or Splenda, is rashly what got the ball rolling in my direction. Good luck. Be positive. You CAN do this!
