Many times when a women stops her birth control after being on it for so long, it may take a while for her cycle to regulate itself, or it may be irregular from here on in. It doesn't take long for the pill to get out of the system either. That is why doctor's suggest that you take your pill every single day at the exact time each day. Within 24 hours, the hormone is out of your system, maybe less.
What you are feeling is not out of the ordinary and you may never have a scheduled period again. A once 28 day cycle could now be 30 or 32, and as far as 35 days in between. It could become difficult to know when you are ovulating, tho some women feel it. If you plan to conceive in the future, you will probably have to guess on your ovulation time. Now is when you need to be extra careful if you don't want to become pregnant. I don't think your pregnant this time. Unless the condom was defective in some way. Did you check the expiration date on the package? Was the condom in your bf's wallet for a while? Did he put it on and remove it correctly? Did he get the condom from a friend? Also, if you were to use certain spermacide's as well. Some spermacides actually break the condom down, rendering it useless. Never use vaseline with a condom.
For now, relax a little. Stress and aggrivation can and will keep your period away as well. Stress will do strange things to out minds and bodies and delaying the cycle is one of them.
