Hello dayday1,
You really do not need to go back to meds.
Here are a couple of things that have really helped. Choose one or both depending on what is your preference on convenience
1) Not sure if you've come across this - There is something known as Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. This is quite popular, with many trained practitioners mostly in US and Europe, and I think in Australia as well. If you get a good person, you'll start seeing a difference in 4-5 sessions.
2) There is another very popular technique which is known to be effective. This is called the "one step" technique.
For this you do not need to go to any therapist - you can basically work on your own. Many have found this useful.
Perhaps you can combine the two also if that helps.
I am quite sure you should see results.
Cheers

I started experiencing similar throat tightening sensations, as well as muscle weakness, dizziness, and extreme fatigue about a year and a half ago when I was pregnant. At first I thought it was just due to the pregnancy, but it continued afterward. After much testing for other possible issues the doctor told me I was suffering from anxiety. I tried medication for a short while, but didn't like taking it while caring for my baby because it seems to really slow me down. Anyways, I came across a program called Panic Away. You can read more about it in my blog if you are interested. Good luck!
