*A little before I start. I'm 13 years old, and I've been healthy for my life so far.*

What happens is that out of no where I will get these, random,  pains in my head. It's somewhere in the front or back, left or right, different places each time most of the time. These pains don't seem to be in a pattern or have a trigger, they just have sudden occurrences. I told my mom and she just gave me a headache pill, and don't want to have an appointment, if it's just nothing and just part of growing up or something. Sometimes these pains won't come for some days, weeks, maybe months, but they always come. Could it be something?

Sidenote: This might not be important, but a while back (1-2 years ago) I was ordered for a CT scan. I have glasses and each eye-exam, they find my eyes getting worse. I was asked to get a CT scan to see if anything was wrong. They said they would call with the results. I take a guess that they called my mom, but she never told me because it was probably nothing.

Hello there, Emily.

Do you experience any other symptoms beside headache?

Maybe it's  migraine, because it's not very rare among teens of your age, but it's followed by stomach pain, vomiting and nausea.

When you started taking headache pills, and did they help you at all? Did they ease your pain or delayed appearance and duration of headaches?

Ask your mother is there anything from CT results than can be connected with your state.

But, my advice is to go to the doctor because headaches can be caused from various reasons and could indicate a deeper problem.

Meanwhile, try to eat regularly, sleep enough and follow some daily routine.
