hi. I'm 13, but have absolutely no hair apart from my head, only have 1 testicle and have not hit puberty. Is this normal?

Thanks

Hey guest the not having any body hair is compleatly normal at your age however haveing one testicle is not..... Have you always only had one or does one of your testicles dissappear and reappear?

Hi thanks for the quick feedback I have one testicle, although I can feel it further up and it hasn't dropped down. Will I still hit puberty as normal?

Thanks a lot

Hi Guest
If your testicle has not descended yet you need to see your doctor ASAP your testicles are suppose to descend when you’re a baby so it needs to looked after by your doctor.
As far as having only testicle it won’t interfere with puberty you will go through it normally.
My best friend had only one testicle and he had no issues what so ever other then being a bit self-conscious of having one testicle but he developed normally and you will as well.
You still need to see your doctor to have it sorted out and get your testicle into your scrotum and it is better to see your doctor as soon as you can.

Hi again,
You say you can feel the testicle but it is higher up than your other one correct? are you overweight at all? sometimes they like to ride up but if you put gentle pressure on your pubic area you can push the testicle down into the scrotum. how large is your testicle that is in your scrotum? as your testicles get larger they may drop down. typically they both should decent during infancy. Has your doctor ever said anything about you only having one?

Hi wiliam cole
You can get a long just fine and lead a normal life with one testicle.
You will be able to ejaculate and have kids as long as your remaining testicle is healthy and working.
You may be self-concious about having only one testicle but you can and will lead a normal life with one testicle.
Your doctor should do occcasional check ups just to make sure there are no issues with your remaining testicle or any other problems associated with having one testicle.
