ok so I havent had my period for 6 mos already.im in my early 50's

I recently had sex w/ condom but its possible that it may have leaked.I took the morning after pill but 5 days later. Now Im wondering if its possible I can still get pregnant?and if so how likely is it possible?

It is still possible to get pregnant even if you are in your early 50s and have not had a period in six months, as ovulation can still occur sporadically during the perimenopause stage. However, the likelihood of getting pregnant naturally during this time is relatively low.

Taking the morning-after pill within five days after unprotected sex is an effective way to prevent pregnancy, but it is not 100% effective. The effectiveness of the morning-after pill decreases the longer you wait to take it after unprotected sex. The morning-after pill can also fail if it is taken after ovulation has occurred.

If you are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy after taking the morning-after pill, you can take a pregnancy test to check if you are pregnant. It is important to note that some pregnancy tests may not be accurate if you have not had a period in six months. In this case, you should speak to your doctor for advice on alternative testing methods.
