You should call your Surgeon's office, and ask to speak directly to the Surgeon's nurse. Let her know the degree of pain you are having.
Pain is generally rated on a scale of 1 to 10.
1 is the least pain, and 10 is the worst pain one has ever experienced.
You should tell the nurse where your pain is falling on this pain scale. Also, tell her any other problems you are having.
The initial goal here should be adequate pain control, but in a safe manner, and under the guidance of your physician.
If your pain control is INADEQUATE is their job to either do something about it, or to bring you in and examine you to find out why you are still having such severe pain.
Either way, you, your parents, or an adult representing you need to be on the phone communicating with your doctor and expressing the gravity of this situation to your doctor. (they may have an emergency number on your post-op papers for concerns that are "after-hours").
Remember, The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease! The place to find an answer is with your doctor's office. So don't let them off the hook too easily.
Good luck and God Bless.
Please let me know what happens.

What makes someone talk through their nose when they get their adenoids taken out?
My daughter had tonsillectomy and adenoids removed. She is on her fifth day of recovery, and I can't find her diet sheet. Can you please send me a list of foods for her diet, and what she can eat today and for the next few days? Thank you.
