I need to remove my left testicle in order to protect the right. What are the implications of this

Sir I am 18 year old guy I have felt a pain in my left testic before 3-4 month but my doctor said it is normal but small pain in my left testis and weakness become continue so, today I meet doctor he said your one testis is dead and right is normal and I hade to remove left testis in order to protect rightone if I do that is this effect my healthy and sexual life or can i make my wife be happy and make a child please please explain the affects of losing one testis honestly please and is the implant of silicon testis is a right for me please help
