Back before I had my son, I was very normal and regual with my periods. I would always have it on time it would last 4-5 days and only the second day of my period would be heavy. 3 years ago I had my son, i gained more weight and it has never been the same. Now I only get my period once every 3rd month, so only 4 times a year. It is Very slow and light, lasting 4-5 days still. But it is so light that i could go using 1 light tampon all day. (I do change it several times a day). I didn't know if this is normal or not, or if it is just becase of my weight gain after my child?
honestly if your having it every 3 months... and its always like that... I think its considered your "normal" period. I say this because its not "irregular" meaning it comes when it wants ex. it come july 1 then comes july 8 then september 25th. (see what im saying). Your cycle is just longer... i mean i might be wrong but thats what my sisters doctor said to her when she had the same issue. many things change when you have a baby.

I'm 15, I’ve been getting periods for around 2 and a half years and I only get them once every 3 months. Does anyone know why? It’s beginning to worry me in case something is wrong.
