I'm 18 years old, I smoke a lot of cigarettes, way more than I'm proud to say. I drink a lot of pop too. Well about 2 years ago, i started getting this really agonizing pain the side of my stomach, it would make me throw up for days sometimes weeks, I ended up losing a whole bunch of weight. It happened a couple times and everytime I went to the ER they told me they didn't know. Now, I haven't got the stomach pain in a few months, but i haven't gained any weight still to this day, I wake up every morning and puke up yellow acid looking stuff, what's wrong with me?!
Hi Miserable,
The yellow color is a concern. It usually indicates bile which might indicate a problem with the pyloric valve at the outlet of the stomach.
I'd suggest you see a gastroenterologist and not continue with the ER. The ER is great for diagnosing emergencies but this is more of a chronic situation. You need a thorough evaluation and tests that will take more time than most ER's permit.
I urge you to get this treated. Repeated vomiting of stomach acids can cause severe damage to your esophagus. It can also lead to dental problems.
Good luck.
I would like to tell you in this condition you should take advice from doctor soon.Otherwise you will trouble for long time.
