People with vaginas usually give off the most pheromones through the crotch area, while men’s are usually around the armpits, so it makes “scent”s (haha) to enjoy your own scent.
A sweet smell is just pheromones from your shift in hormones, thus is why some may feel aroused or comforted by the smell

My period smells like... Period. Its iron-ny, just like blood. Nothing special, nothing more. Yet something about the smell is really nice, and I don't know why or what.
My period smells so clean and nice. Like I've sanitized it with chemicals. I love the smell of bleach and sanitizer so idk. I rly enjoy the scent of the blood, smells nothing like blood or iron at all. Smells delicious

I love the smell of my periods too ... Dont know why .. I jnow it is weird bht i lobw the smell and does not smell anything like chocolate or perfume or anything but it smells like something has been left there for a very long time closed and it wanted to come out and so it is coming out ..

Wow! I keep trying to look into this and I've never found anyone else that has the same experience. The entire time I'm on my period and sometimes a couple days before I just smell so good. I've had Co-workers ask about my perfume, and my boyfriend loves the smell. And it's odd but my Boyfriend smells really, really good around the same time too? Maybe its a combination of the scents or something, I'm not really sure. It's just such a amazing scent and I would definitely buy it if it were a perfume. I can also kind of taste it in my mouth for some reason. My body just puts off this scent during my periods. I'd love to know the actual cause of it. Most people hear that I smell different during my period and point in the direction of std's or chemical imbalances or something. They think that a different smell must mean something is wrong but if this is what I smell when something is wrong, I'm not quite sure I really want to fix it.
