So It's been 15 days since my period was due but it didn't come so I took a pregnancy test after 10 days it said NOT pregnant now I just took it a few hours ago it said Pregnant , I would like to know if i can get a free abortion in ny i don't want my mother to know she will be heart broken. You can get a free abortion in NY, but you must locate a clinic in your area. However, I hope that you will tell your mother or another adult that you trust about what is going on. Keeping a secret this big can be incredibly stressful, and an abortion can be very traumatic. Please consider finding someone that you can talk to about this decision, before and afterwards. It is a very permanent decision.
You will likely need some kind of ID at the clinic, but will not need parental approval.
