Hi, I'm 14 years old, 195 lbs and 5'7". I play sports, eat healthy, but i never seem to lose weight. I've tried dieting, and nothing ever helps, maybe a pound or two over a month, but then everything just goes back into play and nothing happens. Every day, i'm told by my mom that she's disappointed in the way i look. I'm tired of it and I don't want to feel this way anymore. I want a change in my life. Next school year, i'm starting my first year of high school. I want a brand new start, not looking the way I am. I know I should just try to accept the way I am. But with the intense demand in the sport I play, I can't keep looking this way or I won't get anywhere. Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)
Hi dear, if you say you eat healthy and play sports then it must be that your natural build is big and you are not "fat" as you put it. It could also be "baby fat" which will disappear as you grow older. For now, keep living a healthy life and loving yourself because you are beautiful and special...You look more beautiful to people when you appreciate yourself...Enjoy your time at high school xx
Hi "Guest", If you don't mind, what exactly do you eat from the time you wake up to the time you got to sleep? Of course your eating habits may differ, but what is the usual? I read you play sports and eat healthy but maybe, just maybe, you can adjust your diet and exercise routines. I felt I had a weight problem when I was 12-15 but somehow I leaned out. My mom told me a few times, along with a few of my nicely thin sisters lol, that I was putting on a little too much weight and I needed to slow down on my eating. Didn't make me feel too good either, so I sort of know how you feel. Just let me know and maybe I have so advice that might help you :-)
