So I wanted to give a little insight on taking tramadol while pregnant, I to almost 2 years ago was on one of these threads begging for answers because I've been on tramadol for 3 years and couldn't stop taking them without horrible with drawl and trust me I tried. I got pregnant and was so afraid my daughter who is now almost 2 would have with drawl symptoms and I would get her taken away. Even though my obgyn prescribed them my hole pregnancy. I cut back a lot and delivered my daughter full term and she was a healthy 8 pound baby girl. They were very aware she could have with drawl and cps did come in and check her out and myself and my husband to make sure everything was good before sending us home which was scary but she was fine. No withdrawls.. I also wanted to breast feed her and was scared it might transfer over into the breast milk but my doctor even advised it might be better if i did to keep her from having w/d well I breast fed her for a month and then stopped due to low milk but she never had any issues. She is so smart loves to dance and now I'm 8 months pregnant again with my other daughter so I'm not worried. It is smart to let your Dr know your troubles so they can help you. Be honest in the beginning and it will turn out in your favor.

Hi hun. I had surgery years ago and have been on about 400mg to 600mg of ultram a day. I have stopped before and know that i can cut back not completely get off of it. I ultimately want to cut down to a safe amount, currently 5 weeks pregnant and have had a miscarriage once before for somethinf unrelated. Im really worried but want to cut back slowly and safely. I do have tons of questions for you.

I'm prescribed tramadol and was kept on it the entirety of 2 full pregnancies. Me and the babies both tested negative. Both my children are healthy and fine even advanced. There are no studies it does anything at all.
