Next week, I’ll begin running every day for 20 minutes. I was never a sport type of a person, so I don’t know much about it. Can you give me some tips about running?

Hi, if you are not sure about your health condition, you should consult your doctor first and ask him/er if it is safe for you to begin running. How you will run, depends on what you want to achieve. If you’re a beginner, I don’t think you should run every day as you plan to do. I think it would be better to run every other day, for your muscles to adjust. You can start with 10 minutes, at least for the first week, and later you can increase it as much as you like to. If you want to lose fat but not muscles, be careful not to cut protein intake. Without protein, you would quickly lose your muscles, especially if you run regularly and if you’re on a diet. Don’t forget to breathe properly, because if you don’t do it right, you won’t be able to run as much as you planned to.
