Ok, I am fourteen and I have sex. Yes I know I am young. So please don't be judgmental. Me and my boyfriend were together for 5 months and 19 days before we had sex. And me were mature about it. We talked about it, and he said if I felt pressured before then to tell him. We done it for the first time, and I few times after that. But one time when we done it, it ripped. We immediately took it off when I noticed. I used spermicide a couple minutes after that, and I am already on birth control. I have only been on it for about two months. And the doctor said it wouldn't be effective until after the first pack was used. But I was supposed to start my period about two days ago, and I haven't yet. But if I am, I need advice. Someone mentioned welfare. but I'm not sure what that is. Help?
i think you should take a test or go to the doctors just wondering how did you get birth controls at 14?
Dear; xo_devinnn
Ok being on birth control (b/c) is a first good start, so taking b/c helps stops the cycle of getting pregnate, but not the full of the periods and you did another correct step, and using condoms is the 3rd best idea you have, but if you do think you are - stop the pills and return to your doctor NOW for a test and next steps... (there is a post talking about a 17 yo going to go though the full term and keeping the baby, that is always the problem),
The Move Juno is good on this topic....your period may not start this time, it is early in your development to have regular ones and starting the b/c will again change everything....and you will be differant while on the pill.
So stop worring (Ya right!!)at this time and and make a dr appointment, take the test and we will talk after that, so write back here if you need more help.
Welfare is your state assistance for no to low income people to help with dr appointments and food, shelter, and meds for the growth of a fetus.
Will you write on how you were able to get on birth control at your early age but not uncommon age, in the early 70's girls I know also were on them at your age, and earlier. thanks for your posting.
My ex wife was on the pill about 6 to 9 months before we were married, and the she stoped taking them the month after the wedding, and did not become pregnate until 6 months later.
