After a bad accident 6 yrs ago I had no common sence about meds...since I never would even take Tylonol.they gave Oxycodone but I refused to take..now they put me on Methadone.i won't take but the pain is unbearable.please tell me when this will go away

Likely because you have had the pain for 6 years that without a permanent solution or fix it will be ongoing pain issue for you which is known as CHRONIC PAIN.
The only way to deal with chronic pain is usually pain medications.
