I have had my implant out for a year now & have not been able to concieve. Have you had any changes since your post? I'm not sure if I should consult a doctor at this point. I've been told by several people it can take up to a year to readjust after implant removal

I'm having the same issue and it's been over 5 years now since I had my Implanon out and expired. I'm trying to find others who are going through thing as well. Also, can anybody answer the question if the clinic that put the implant in told you directly that it may cause troubles with infertility? Because, that's the one thing I wanted to make sure, that I STILL had the option to have kids if I wished and not be some experiment for depopulation! Seriously!

Hi. I dont think your implanon is the prob. I think you re having fungi infections. Wc could occur even without implanon. U might need to take your boyfriend to the doctor. He might need treatment too for you to have total remission.

I had pos before my hysterectomy, and I never had the implenon. It's possible it was already genetically there.
However, I will say my daughter's both had the implenon at 17 &15, they are 21& 23 now. Both have it removedfor over a yr now. My oldest wants children but as of yet nothing. My youngest is on the pill.

But you may want kids later, stay on the pill. The implenon is not right. It not only is replacing a natural hormone your body creates making your body stop making it even after your implenon is out, it also shrinks your ovaries and has been thought to cause PCOS. and that, if you do get pregnant, can cause miscarraiges. My neice went through that.

I had my daughter at age 17. I dropped right back down to my normal size 6 two weeks later. My doctor suggested a Norplant. I had it inserted. My period was constant. Never stopped. I went from a size 6 to over 200 lbs. My hair began falling out. I was depressed, moody, crying constantly, tired and had periods of serious rage. I began to have debilitating anxiety attacks and memory loss and insomnia. My hair on my head was falling out and I started growing a beard. I continued with a constant period for almost a year before I DEMANDED they take it out.The doctor that put it in was no where to be found and I had to search for a doctor who was willing to take it out as most wouldn't take out one they did not put in. Finally I did find a doctor to take it out. He advised all of the "bubbles" that were supposed to last for 5 years had all ruptured and released all of these hormones into my body right away. It took over an hour, and they had to cut my muscle tissue to do it but they finally managed to get it out. It took two weeks before I could use my arm again. It was weeks before it went back to normal. Over a month before I got my strength back. Almost right away, I started losing weight and started having regular periods. It was some time before the anxiety lessened, but I still struggle with it now. I was unable to conceive again until I was 35. I now have ovarian cysts, my hair is still thinning. I have serious struggles with my weight once I hit 30. I have developed an "extra" heart beat, I have never been able to stop the beard.
I was an athletic body, I had been a ballet dancer, I ate primarily fruits and vegetables, I was healthy as could be according to my doctors. If you are reading this considering getting this put into your body, DONT DO IT. You make important decisions in your life sometimes that will affect you for the REST of your life. This is one of them. DO NOT PUT THIS IN YOUR BODY. It will change your life. Simply NOT worth the damage in my opinion. I have been to doctor after doctor and STILL no one seems to be able to fix this. You are WAY better off using a condom if you are looking for birth control.

Hey ! I was on the impaljon for about 9 months I got on it in November 2015 two months after having my son , then I got it removed October 2016 because it was causing me to gain weight & mood swings . Once it was removed they told me it could take up to two weeks and then I’d could get pregnant . That was false ! Ive been told it could take up to 6 months to a year before you hormones got back to how they suppose to be . I have been off of it now a year October 2017 makes a whole year & I still haven’t had a baby ! But it’s these veggie capsules called Vitex and it help with a woman’s mestrual cycle & ovulation & it helps boost your hormones such as estrogen & progesterone and people said it took like two to three weeks and they became pregnant after using it I really reccomend it I’m using now as of today !

I was on the implanon two months after having my son in 2015 so I got on it November of 2015 . It caused so many problems . Periods that last for weeks & weeks , mood swings , weight gain , fatigue etc.. so eventually in October of 2016 I had the nexplanon removed ! And my boyfriend never pulled out (tmi) but yea & I never got pregnant .. it’s now October of 2017 & I have been off of it a whole year & yet still no baby . It was to the point where I thought my tubes where scarred so I started taking serrapepetase Drs.Best ,. But then I’m like nah that can’t be it . I have irregular periods sometimes they like 30 days apart or something like that .. I came across Vitex tho .. Vitex helps with fertility , irregular periods & more ! Woman have said to take & periods went back to normal , they ovulated & some woman say that they was on it for about 3 weeks then became pregnant !! But you have to take it until your first trimester because I heard of not you could miscarry because not enough hormone in your body . I think Vitex is really going to help . I have been taking it for about a day . I’m just trying to get a BFP ..
