Interesting thread.

Sad to see so many people so judgmental and opinionated. This could be a much nicer thread if all the bashing could deleted.

So sad to read all of these posts only to find that no one has written back in to confirm a negative or positive pregnancy test. I find more information on actual success stories instead of a thread of a bunch of women with questions and none following through with answers. Thank you to all the women who had actual facts and actual experience with implantation bleeding. I appreciate your input, especially because you are the group that has confirmed pregnancies.

For those of you looking for better answers, try googling "two week wait, success stories" or "BFP symptoms" and read those boards. Many women do notice implantation bleeding. Just as many women experience none. My favorite one to obsess on is:
I hope I get the early signs of implantation bleeding, when my time comes.

Crossing my fingers for a miracle.

Hi All... Ok, read a few of these posts b/c i wondered if maybe I had implantation bleeding this weekend even tho it would have only been 5dpo. I have had 2 successful pg's and never had implantation bleeding. I can say however that with my first pg (in which I had much more signs of pg than my 2nd in the first tri) I started feeling pg 2 days after O (mostly this was a totally new tingling feeling in bbs)... and within a few days of that I started feeling slight nausea, which increased every couple of days for a while. I was able to get bfp's early (even in one that m/c'd early).

I know some would have a hard time believing it b/c what you read on the internet/what your doc tells u often contradicts this. Docs are taught all this same info in med school. That is why diagnoses are sometimes wrong -- b/c it is hard for them to think outside the box. This is understandable b/c they were taught certain things and it is very difficult to have the time, money, and risk it takes to pursue other diagnoses. Anyway, back to the point: Every person experiences pg in a different way and each pg for one woman can vary a lot. My thought: besides each person's body being a bit different structure-wise (and health-wise) each person will have a different hormonal makeup (which can vary from month to month for each indiv too). And it really comes down to these wonderful hormones it seems. Some people, like some with cysts, think they are pg when in fact it is just certain hormones making them feel that way. So, hang in there everyone and best of luck... I know for me, and this may be the case with most of you, I want to know NOW because it is such a big deal to be pg... and we want to be sure we are taking the best care of our bodies for those potential little ones.

OK ladies (or gentelemen), implantation spotting is NOT from the egg travelling down the fallopian tube!!! It is from the fertizined egg burrowing into the thickened lining of your uterus, hence the slight blood! It happens around 7 dop sometimes a bit later.....the egg would not get fertilized, AND made it's journey AND implant in 3 days, not possible...lets at least TRY to give accurate information....

Ok, hang on, are you seriously saying that you had a positive pregnancy test THREE DAYS after having unprotected sex? Or even 5 days after having sex?? That is physically impossible.

I really appreciate this thread. I haven't had any implantation spotting or anything but I am already having pregnancy symptoms (frequent urination, pressure in my uterus, and gassy) but I'm only 3 DPO I was scared of having a ectopic pregnancy! This thread helped relieve my stress, I hope this is my month for a BFP!

Hello. I'm just wondering, my husband and I had sex on the 16th, (which happens to be my day for ovulation). We're not planning on getting pregnant right now (but would accept a baby with open arms). We use condoms, but only at the end of intercourse. We've both been sick this month, and we were only able to have intercourse the one day in the last few weeks. Now today (the 19th) I have unexpected light bleeding. I've never had an irregular period before. I'm confused as to how this could be possible. What do you think? Could I be pregnant? My next period isn't due untill the 30th of Jan. Thanks!

"I don't know where you get this number 2-14 days !...It is scientifically impossible for your egg to travel at the speed of light down to implant in the uterus. It takes days and days of traveling before it actually implants...so , This false info you provided is horrible...Giving false hope to people..Get your facts straight just cause your way to hopeful!"

Actually, you are false in assuming EVERY woman is the same. If a woman was to have intercourse up to the day after ovulation then that gives the egg enough time to travel farther down the tube to the uterus, allowing for implantation to happen "sooner". Get your facts straight before you assume you know anything about ovulation and implantation!

FYI - I am 4 DPO, and my husband and I were just fooling around tonight and decided to take one of those Dollar Tree pregnancy tests. Crazy enough, it came back positive. I, of course, said there's no way this can be possible. How could implantation have happened so quickly? So, husband ran out and bought a First Response, and it, too, came back positive. I'm still skeptical, but I've read so many articles about how false positives are rare. Heading to the doctor next week...with HOPE!

Hi, thank you for this information. Some people wite really rude remarls, which is pretty annoying.  What you wrote is the type of information that I would like to hear because it does give me hope and it reassures me that every woman's body is different. I am actually 6 days PO and I am afraid to test because we have been trying for 3 months now with no success.  This message helped me to stay hopeful.   I wish you all the best.

Hi everyone, my hubby and I have been TTC for 8 months now, this is the first month that I have paid attention to the egg white mucus during ovulation. We had unprotected sex on that particular day, and the day after I experienced bright spotting. I know not to get excited and think it must be implantation bleeding or anything, but i am just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and found themselves to be pregnant from that cycle? I have read through most of this thread and know most of you have been saying it can happen as early as 2-3 days post ovulation, but I'm just wondering if any one has had a different/earlier experience. I have never had any spotting like this before, and have a regular 28 day cycle. It so tempting to get my hopes up :o/

That was a rude reply

That was NOT a rude response, but you obviously don't know much about the subject. I think you should get your facts straight before firing at someone who actually knows what they're talking about!!
