Implantation Bleeding- Cramping

I believe I am experiencing implantation bleeding. I ov'd on 2/28 and noticed breast tenderness and spotting on 3/8, which is 7 days prior to my next period. From everything I've read it seems that most people just have some spotting, whereas it started out like that for me with the brownish color, now it is red in color, like actual period bleeding. Everyone else seems to just have had the brownish spotting or a light pink color. I'm also having cramping for the past 2 days. I wasn't planning to take an hpt until next week after I've officially missed the first day of my period. Any helpful thoughts out there. Has anyone else experience bleeding (it's not leaking out, just there when I wipe)? Sorry if this is TMI. Just scared and confused. Thanks
