I'm the one who posted the Seizure fit. I am in the icu because of a head injury and bored out of my mind. I have been sleeping a lot and when i wake i forget to ask any doctor or nurse about wwhat happened. I was told i had a seizure fit and was just wondering what having a Seizure "Fit" meant. I said on the last post that i was in the icu but i am still in it. I was just wondering what kinds of seizures there are and what happens during each kind. I was told i had a seizure but don't remember having one. Any information on what happened would be helpful.
What kind of head injury did you have? The most probable type of seizure - because you can't remember it happening, mostly, but also because there was an injury that could have triggered it, is temporal lobe seizure. This type of seizure means that normal activity of one of your brain areas (temporal one) that controls many important functions, but mostly is in control of your consciousness, has for a short moment gone beyond normal limits which then leads to short term memory loss (inability to remember the seizure). Also, medications that you probably have been given are contributing to memory lapses, as well the injury itself.
