Epidermoid and pilar cysts look like small smooth lumps under the surface of your skin. They are generally benign (non-cancerous) and usually cause no harm or problems. If required, they can usually be removed easily by a small operation done under local anaesthetic.

Epidermoid cysts can affect anyone but are most common in young and middle-aged adults. They can appear anywhere on the skin but develop most commonly on the face, neck, chest, upper back and genitals, eg scrotum.

They are not usually harmful. If they do not bother you then it is best just to leave them alone. However, it is worth asking your doctor to check they are harmless. Sometimes a person with an epidermoid or pilar cyst requests that it be removed. This is usually for one of three reasons:

Cosmetic reasons. For example, the cyst is in an obvious site on the skin and looks unsightly
.
They are sometimes easy to catch and traumatise. This typically occurs on the scalp when combing hair.

If the cyst has become infected or irritating.

If required, the cyst can usually be easily removed by a simple operation, under local anaesthetic. The surrounding skin is numbed by injecting some local anaesthetic. A small cut (incision) is made over the cyst. Typically, the cyst can be easily pulled out. The wound is then stitched up. A small scar will result. Sometimes, after the removal of a cyst, it gradually regrows in the same site under the scar. This is unusual but, if it occurs, it can be removed again.

Use a creme called Man Man Oil. It is by far the best thing for skin issues down there. It both treats and prevents bumps, rashes, dryness, chafing and a lot more. It boosts the overall health of the penis too. It is a great product. Check it out. Hope this helps.

I have had similar problems as well. But I kind of popped the bump and used hydrogen peroxide to disinfect it, it did sting but I have a high pain tolerance

I know what you mean. It is probably just some ingrown pubic hair. Wash down there often and stay clean to prevent any sort of infection. If you are brace enough. Sterilize with hydrogen peroxide.

Yo yo yo. I just fixed my ingrown hair and that little SOB hurt like hell but I did it. I treated it as a pimple and I pulled the skin up to where I was pinching it and I squeezed and squeezed untill it opened up. When it did some blood came out but it was still hard and i kept pulling and squeezing draining the blood and all that was left was a smaller bump. At that time I was just going to leave it but I didn't feel like giving up so I manned up and worked the puss to my open pore and squeezed like a MOFO it hurt but I saw the white come out so I pulled the puss out and looked at it on my finger (it wasn't a lot) and I saw some hair and I found the tip of the hair then I pulled the hair by the tip and I saw that the hair endid somewhere in that puss. Hopefully I'm done with that and so make sure you clean it up after you pop it. This worked for me but there was some blood. If it's bothering you man up and get to work.

I had the same problem I just gave it 2 weeks til it became more round so I just said f**ck it and started squeezing it it hurt like a sob but I just kept going and it just poped slot of blood and alittle puss came out. It went down all the way I hope this can help some people cause it’s not a big deal you don’t have to go to a doctor. Just wait til it gets round and squeeze that little mofo it will pop.

Just leave it alone. It will go on it's own. Just keep the area clean and dry. It's normal we all get them at some time.
