I have been training with utmost dedication and effort. However I sustained many injuries and noticed that I not only stopped making any progress but my form actually declined. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I don’t know what is going on and where those injuries came from. What do you think?
I think you have a typical case of over training. You have been working our with “utmost dedication and effort”. This usually translates into doing too much too often. Your body simply wasn’t able to cope with it. Hence your injuries. Hence lack of progress. Hence loss of power and strength. You have to take few weeks completely off. That means no training at all. Then you should proceed with some 60-70% of what you were doing before.
